CB and ham radio confiscation underway
Is this for the FCC and FEMA to control H1N1 pandemic information or to control communication when the panic hits from the bank holiday rumored to take place late August to mid-September 2009?

paranoid freaks. They are getting rid of the CB’s because they are not FCC type accepted and they transmit out of band.

The radio she had in the video is not even legal to sell in the USA. The radio she had is a 10Meter radio being sold at truck stops as a CB radio. The radio does WAY more than 4 watts and has to be modified just to work on the CB (stock out the box it will do 28.000mhz to 29.800mhz)(Cb Radio is 26.965mhz to 27.405mhz)(The radio she is showing can do 25.000Mhz to 30.000mhz). If you do a simple search on the fcc website you will find that Truck stops are getting busted and fined just for selling them type of radios. The trucking Co’s are getting busted for there truckers running out of the CB band also.
Not to worry your REAL CB Radio and REAL Ham radio’s are just fine and you will still be able to buy them any day of the week. I bet if she just went to the same truck stop she got that radio from she could still buy a CB RADIO ie: Cobra 25/29/148 or Uniden Pro 510-520 or anyother TRUE CB Radio.

Ok first off FCC and FEMA are not banning CB radio’s or Ham Radio. Neither one of these are going to be going away. This lady really has no understanding the basics let alone the technical aspects and really has no authority even talking about either one of these topics. Second thing is how is FCC controlling the H1N1 since that has nothing to do with communications?
So this video is a hoax or something because there is no facts to back this up. Do listen to a word she is talking about because it’s 100% false.
