YouTube Channels Soon To Disappear
Censorship | March 24, 2017 | Rabid Ranter
Thank you Paul Joseph Watson for bringing this to the attention of the general public. I think we can all agree that censorship is a parasite. Once it starts sucking the life blood out of you, it doesn't ever stop until it's eradicated. The problem is, while everyone is shouting about censorship, no one -- and I mean no one -- is offering a solution. What are we to do when all avenues of public speaking (online) are blocked? Our videos on YouTube are removed, blocked, censored. Our links on Google are removed, blocked and censored. Our Tweets are removed, blocked or censored. Facebook... does anyone even go there anymore? So, what are we to do? Go outside on the street corner and start shouting at people who pass by? That's where we're heading.
I don't know what the solution is. I only know that we need to come up with one. It's possible that a competetor to YouTube will emerge and we can all migrate our free speech principles there. The problem is, the overwhelming sense of defeat and apathy that can envelope us. A lot of time and energy has been spent on building a social network and the thought of starting over, well it leaves many people feeling like, "Why bother?" We have to fight this apathy. We have to fight this censorship. A way to keep sharing ideas with others is more important than ever in the world we face today. So people, put your heads together and come up with a plan. If YouTube doesn't want our free speech, someone else will. Any takers?
