On December 22, 2016, Spicer was named as Trump's White House Press Secretary, and two days later, Spicer was also named as the White House Communications Director. He assumed both positions with Trump's inauguration on January 20, 2017."

For all the talk about the proper use of Twitter, two instances yesterday stand out. The first instance was about the bust of Martin Luther King, Jr. being removed from the Oval Office and the second involved inaccurate inaugural crowd size numbers.
